I love Click & Clack (Tom and Ray, the Car Talk brothers) and read their column regularly or tune in to their show on NPR. Some of the questions they get are really funny, and their responses can be Red Hot.

But the question this week left me shaking my head. It started off:
“I am in the market for a newer car. My girlfriend says I am too mature (I’m 61) for my ’96 Miata, and I should be driving something in my maturity range, if not in my price range…”

Maturity range? Yikes! 61 is young and just getting started!

Tim, Tim, Tim, keep the Miata and swap the girlfriend for a Red Hot Mama who’s happy to ride in or drive a Miata regardless of age! There are lots of us who LOVE men who think young and drive what they want!

Quit worrying about what people think and drive happily into as many sunsets as you can with a girlfriend who thinks younger and is more fun!

I believe you’re never too old to drive what makes you happy! What does age have to do with it anyway?
